PROPOSALS & TENDERING
Proposals out same-day.
AI drafts from your template and spec, with the schedule of claims included. Branded version ready before the lead cools off.
Custom software built around how your business actually runs. Built by someone who's been on the tools.
For NZ residential builders, 5 to 30 staff.
WHY THIS EXISTS
I ran a building company from 2007 to 2020. 50 staff at the peak. I know exactly what kills a build company's margin and it isn't the work. It's the admin between the work.
Quotes that take three evenings instead of three hours. Variations that get forgotten on the way back to the ute. Progress claims that go out a week late. Subbies you have to ring four times. Toolbox talks that get done because they have to, not because they help. Timesheets you chase every fortnight.
You've tried the software. Tradify, Fergus, Buildxact, maybe Buildertrend. They're built to cater for everyone, which means they fit nobody properly. You ended up using 5% of what you paid for, and the other 95% sits there judging you.
I build the version of that software that's actually yours.
WHAT'S POSSIBLE
Every building company is different. Some need timesheets and H&S sorted first. Others want the quoting nailed. Some want everything connected, including the marketing. Builds usually start with three or four and add more over time.
COMPOUNDING ADVANTAGE
Every job that runs through it makes the next quote sharper. After two or three years, the system knows your business better than anyone except you. That's something no off-the-shelf tool can do.
THE DIFFERENCE
The big-name tools are designed for the average builder, which is nobody in particular. They have to keep adding features for the long tail of customers, which means yours gets buried under stuff you'll never use.
Custom built is different. Your team's workflow. Your trades. Your suppliers. Your reporting. Your branding on the client portal. Your data, in a database that belongs to you. You're not paying for someone else's roadmap.
Your code, your data, your tooling. No vendor lock-in, no license tax, no surprises. When we're done, you walk away with the whole system and every key. If you ever want to manage it yourself, we transfer it. Done.
Most AI you see right now is a chatbot bolted onto a website. What I build is different. AI wired into your actual data, trained on your jobs, your clients, your way of working. It learns as you go.
Most projects go live in 4 to 8 weeks. A working thing in six weeks beats a perfect thing in six months, every time.
HOW WE WORK
Four steps. You know exactly what is happening, what it costs, and when it ships, before any work begins.
We start by understanding your business. Not just what you want built, but how your team actually works, where the bottlenecks are, what's costing you time and money right now.
We scope it, price it, and map out exactly what gets built. You know what you're getting and what it costs before any work starts.
Using AI-accelerated development, we move fast without cutting corners. You get progress updates throughout. Most builds ship in 4 to 8 weeks.
Once it's live, you can keep iterating with me, or take everything and run it yourself. Add features, connect more data, automate more. Your system grows as your business does.
WHAT IT COSTS
Builds usually run from $5,000 to $50,000 depending on how much you want included. Most builders land somewhere in the middle.

SELECTED WORK
Builder OS is the latest vertical. The same custom-built, cross-system approach has been shipped for other NZ businesses with similar shape.

A six-stage seller journey turned into a guided digital experience. Educates homeowners through every step before listing and captures qualified appraisal leads. The kind of guided-workflow thinking that translates directly to a building company.

Multi-tenant CRM that replaces spreadsheets and inbox chasing for travel health clinics. Moves every case from intake through coordination to completion in one guided pipeline. Same pattern works for builds.
The Builder OS case study lands when the first build does. If you'd like to be that case study, let's talk.
COMMON QUESTIONS
Those are products built for everyone. You configure yourself into whatever fits closest. What I build is the opposite. It's your business's workflow turned into software. You don't change how you work to fit the tool. The tool is built to match how you work.
NZ residential builders with 5 to 30 staff and $1M to $10M annual revenue is the sweet spot. Smaller than that, Tradify or Fergus probably does the job. Larger than that, you can afford enterprise tools and may already have them.
Most builds ship in 4 to 8 weeks. A small starter system can be live in 3 weeks. A full suite is 8 to 12 weeks. You'll have working pieces in your hands within the first month either way.
Yes. Your code lives in a GitHub repo that's yours. Your data lives in a database that's yours. Your domain is yours. If you ever want to walk away with the whole thing and run it yourself, the transfer is straightforward and built into the deal. No lock-in, no held-hostage data.
Yes. Xero is the default integration. Same for Google Business Profile, Google Workspace, Stripe, Resend for email, and the main social platforms. If you use something else, we can usually connect to it.
The big complaint about builder software is "we paid for it and nobody used it." That happens when the system doesn't match how the team actually works. The reason this gets used is because it's built around your team, not the other way around. Site staff get a 2-minute daily routine. Office staff get the bits they need without the bits they don't.
That's the point of the discovery call. We work out together what would actually help, what's worth building first, and what can wait. You don't need to know what you want. You just need to know what's broken.
Three options. One: keep iterating with me on a monthly basis, add features as you grow. Two: take ownership of the whole system and run it yourself, with me on a support retainer if you want. Three: handover and we're done, you own it outright. Whichever fits.
START
Tell me what's broken, what's slow, what's costing you margin. I'll tell you what's possible and what it would take to build. No pitch deck, no follow-up emails, no chasing.
